For Online Courses:  We shall invite you to attend a trial session to assist you in the connection to the platform and guide you on the tool bar to navigate around the site prior to going live on the actual training day.


This helps clients who have not used the Zoom platform before and ensures that all clients do not have any connection problems.


We shall send you an invitation via email.  You will be required to click on the link and this will automatically bring you into the meeting.  You will be held in a waiting room, don't worry your trainer will know that you are there.  You will then be transferred into the meeting once the trainer is ready to start the session.

We have decided to use this method of training to deliver courses to limit any risk to you and our staff, whilst we are dealing  with this pandemic.  In addition some venues decide to close their doors as and when their are area lockdowns.  We want to avoid further disruption.


If you prefer not to use the zoom platform, we have set up  courses throughout the year within the classroom for all 3 days,  Please refer to the venue list for information

The course covers 16 hours and consists of various subjects including:

  • Understanding the penalties for drinking and driving
  • Including being in charge of the vehicle
  • Learn how to calculate your drinking in terms of units
  • Understand how long it takes for alcohol to be eliminated
  • Alcohol and the effects on you Health
  • Skills to consider for safe driving
  • Procedure on how to get your licence returned to you
  • Information for high risk offenders and the examination required
  • Positive planning for the future and how to avoid risk taking

During the course:


 you will be encouraged to work in groups, we find this beneficial in your learning experience.  There will be valuable information given to you whilst you attend.  You will be given handouts and booklets to add information whilst you learn.  You will be shown some intersting films about driver safety and participate in quizes and group exercises.

Completion of Course:



Once completed you will be sent a Completion certificate.  It is essential that you keep the certificate safe to forward to your insurance company. This is to prove you attended the course and  to obtain the reduced premium of insurance.
It may be necessary to show to future employers 

You will be sent your completion certificate via email within 7 days or via post if preferred

The company shall forward your completion certificate to the relevant departments to reduce your disqualification period
