HIGH RISK OFFENDERS SCHEME
You are classed as a High Risk Offender if you fall into one of the following categories:
- Those offenders who have been disqualified twice within a 10 year period.
- Those persons who provided a specimen which equalled or exceeded 2 1/2 times over the drink drive limit being: 87.5 mircorgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres (ml) of breath 200 milligrammes (mg) of alcohol per 100ml of blood 267.5 mg of alcohol per 100ml of urine
- Refused to give an example to test for alcohol
- Refused to allow a sample of your blood to be tested for alcohol (for example if you were unconscious at the time, and later refused)
* PLEASE NOTE: Currently due to the pandemic it has been difficult to arrange the medicals and therefore the DVLA have requested that you attend this course early in your ban and apply for your licence once you have finished your course (not at 90 days prior as per the application form).
